I observed this on farm town.
When you have so many task in queue, then click the refresh button on the browser. The task are not blown away, instead the task are finished when the game load. and the necessary adjustment on the coins are properly adjusted.
Now, go and queue all your task then click REFRESH. in just a minute plowing/planting and harvesting is done.
